Home for Thorney Vauxhall in Milton Keynes is a dedicated state of the art workshop benefiting from extensive specialist tools needed to service the modern Vauxhall vehicles, we even have a chassis dyno where we can accurately measure your cars output and ensure it is running perfectly.
To demonstrate how open we are about looking after your car there is a large window overlooking the workshop from reception so you can watch as we attend to your vehicle (there's a TV and free wireless internet as well in case you get bored).
All of our technicians are a minimum of Vauxhall Silver standard (we don't use juniors to service customers cars) and most are Gold or even Platiunum - the highest standard Vauxhall has.
The company was started by John Thorne (the name Thorney was his nick name from school times) initially as a car racing and tuning operation specialising in BMW and Vauxhall VX220 models. Over the last 10 years Thorney has grown to specialise in Vauxhall and BMW car servicing and repairs. As befits the company's technical skill we are now the Vauxhall appointed dealer dealing with a wide range of specific issues on behalf of Vauxhall themselves acting as a technical specialist for cars other dealers are experiencing issues.
Our service team is one of the most experienced in the UK, our general manager, parts manager and service manager combined have over 40 years experience in the Vauxhall network and our technicans are Silver, Gold and even Platinum level (the highest level awarded by Vauxhall). We don't use apprentices to work on customers cars - not our style and not what we think our customers expect.
As well as servicing and repairs we specialise in vehicle improvements and upgrades, we can improve the performance and fuel economy of nearly every Vauxhall (and other makes) via a simple engine computer update (known as a remap) which are all fully covered by our jointly adminstered warranty with Vauxhall so you can upgrade and have complete peace of mind as to your warranty. We also offer handling and braking upgrades as well as exhausts, seats, wheel and tyres.
